Active European Remembrance

More than 16 million victims of Nazism and Stalinism testify to the cruelty of totalitarian regime. In order to commemorate the victims and learn from the past, the European Commission has introduced the programme “Action 4 – European Remembrance Day“. The video features projects like “Daughters of the Enemy“ – a film about the daughters of dissidents during the Stalinist era in Czechoslovakia, and presents the Holocaust Memorial Day in Poland when students commemorate the fate of 200 Jewish children killed during the Nazi occupation.
