EDEN 2009: Czech Republic
The European Destinations of Excellence – EDEN - is a project promoting sustainable tourism development models across the European Union. Every year the best destinations win the EDEN award. In the summer of 2009 Media Consulta produced 44 videos for 22 winning destinations all over Europe. The EDEN destination of the Czech Republic is the "Bohemian Switzerland". Visitors from all over Europe come to this protected area. It is famous for its huge sandstone reliefs and offers many possibilities for outdoor activities.
